You know, messy makeup, everything smudged, messy buns and all that? I want to know if it looks good on me. I have brown hair that goes to nmy shoulders and is straight, fair skin tone, and hazel eyes.

I love the idea of a "messy" bun, but be careful with "messy" makeup. Too much smudging or smearing on your face can just make it look like you didn't have enough time to get ready or, even worse, like you slept in your makeup overnight!

Messy buns are always fun no matter the color of your hair so i say go for it! If your straight hair tends to be somewhat limp or too silky, try backcombing and braiding first for added texture and style.

I think that a smoky eye looks good with messy makeup, but a messy bun should go with winged eyeliner (liquid).

I like sleeker makup and hair; although, I do like the loose buns every once in awhile. Even if it's not a "messy" bun so to speak but just one where you have some face framing pieces, that's a pretty look.

Um, I like smudged eyeliner, if that's what you mean. But not messy. Messy buns are cute too, but I think if you're going messy with makeup, have your makeup look sharp. Too much messy just looks...well, messy! :)

I love the messy bun look, but I like pulled together and neutral makeup more. I think that peaches would look good for your cheeks and brown mascara for your eyelashes based on your description.

Well....the messy buns are really cute and fun but "messy" makeup not so much. I'm sure you would look great with the messy bun. Keep your makeup clean so it doesn't look like you slept in it. Look under "Trends" for some ideas on messy buns and styles.
